Shaun hails from the streets of Dublin, citing his life in and around the city as a big influence on his music. Visiting and working in venues such as the Olympia, Vicar Street, Whelan’s, The Sound House and more. ‘Dublin is a city with millions of stories imbedded in every street, something that inspires me every day as I pass through it.’

Shaun secured his first ever number 1 on the Irish charts with his latest single. ‘Galway’ is a song that tells the tale of a friendship being challenged by distance , growing up and growing apart. The song is easy to listen to, soft on the ears and is made for listening to while thinking about people you love. The lyrics describe things we see every day, people, love, buses, trains and everything in between our journeys in life.

Shaun’s latest single comes on the back of his successful integration into music through the ’Late Replies’ project. Shaun self-Wrote, Recorded, Mixed And Mastered his debut EP from his bedroom and managed to build up his following on social media, while having no gigs to help promote his music. The Coronas , Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys and James Taylor are all artists Shaun has referenced as having a huge impact on his musical taste and career trajectory. Shaun once again collaborated with Aaron McCarthy (Ringside Theatre) to fill out the band as Aaron plays drums on the track, while Shaun performs on guitars, bass, vocals, piano and trumpet!

At the moment Shaun has no gigs that have been announced. However Shaun is very open to support slots and encourages anyone to get in touch if they are interested in him playing in any form as a headline act or a support act for a similar artist!

Shaun is planning to release more original music this year and will be making his return to the live music scene later in the year for the first time since before the pandemic to a large scale audience.
