Read More 16th Aug 2026Glen Hansard. A hero. A mentor and one of the greatest friends I’ve ever had. ❤️ I remember hearing the song Revelate when I was very young, maybe 8 or 9. I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever heard. I always dreamed of meeting Glen. And I became so fortunate to form a friendship with him a few years later. The word legend is thrown around a lot these days. But Glen, he was a legend. I was always so proud to know Glen. He was One of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. The hilarious and brilliant stories to the incredible kindness he showed towards everyone. I always admired him so much. His music inspired me from a young age to pick up a guitar, like so many other musicians. Glen gifted me a Takamine guitar. Which I write a lot of songs on. Which shows just how kind he really was. There’s something magic about it. I have been playing this guitar live the last few years. I will forever treasure it. As I will the memories ❤️ I could go on forever talking about how much he meant to me. The world lost one of its greats today, no doubt there’s a big sing song tonight in heaven. In my eyes he will always be a hero and rockstar. Sending big love to his family and friends. And to his brothers in the Frames. Rest in peace Glen. And Thank you for everything. Till we meet again. Love ya Brother❤️❤️☘️
