Alexandra King has spent her entire life behind a microphone, performing in pubs across New York and Ireland. Now rooted in Nashville, King writes with the urgency of someone living her second chance.
After a life-altering spinal cord injury, it was music that carried her through. Her unwavering determination and care not only allowed her to reclaim her voice but to learn to walk again.
Her Irish heritage and New York upbringing meet in her soulful vocals and raw storytelling, each song carrying both grit and grace.
I was excited to be part of Stripped Back Sessions Monday, August 10 at The Sound House in Dublin alongside some incredible artists. I shared songs, stories, and an insights from my debut album Across the Pond. You can see videos from this show here on fanclub.

Read More 16th Aug 2026Across the Pond is finally out in the world. ☘️ My debut album was written between Nashville, Ireland, and New York—three places that shaped these songs & me. Born from late-night thoughts, crossed oceans, crossed paths, and stories I couldn’t keep to myself, this record became so much more than an album. It became a reminder to trust the unexpected and follow the things that make you feel most alive. A few years ago, after breaking my neck in the middle of law school, I wasn’t sure what my future would look like. Music found me again during that uncertainty, and what began as healing - became purpose. Across the Pond was born in the space between heartbreak and hope, home and adventure, who I was and who I’m becoming. Whether you’ve been here since the first song or just found your way here today, thank you for spending time with this record. You only get one life. If little me could see this moment, I think she’d be proud. Sláinte to the first chapter. ☘️❤️ Across the Pond is yours now. 🌊✨
